When Lisa Blair was 25, she fell in love with sailing while she was working as a hostess on a sailboat.
Fast forward only seven years later and she became the first woman to sail solo around Antarctica with one stop.
But it wasn’t without complications, having a near-death experience where her yacht dismasted at sea.
Still she kept sailing, quickly becoming the fastest woman to sail solo around Australia and then Antartica as she crazily attempted her record again, and beat it by ten days.
All these adventures took place onboard her yacht, Climate Action Now, which she hopes will inspire others to take action towards sustainability.
Now she's gearing up to break another record by travelling the Artic solo.
