Lisa Sthalekar was the first woman to score 1000 runs and take 100 wickets in the history of One-Day International Cricket.
But Lisa’s cricketing journey began in her teenage years when she became the first woman to ever join her local cricket club, and as they say, the rest is history. Lisa went on to captain the New South Wales Breakers and the Australian national team on many occasions.
But her resume off the pitch is just as impressive: winning back-to-back Belinda Clark medals, becoming the first woman to be President of the World Cricketers Association, and most recently co-founding Around the Wickets: A women's cricket travel business encouraging fans to travel the world to support the Australian team.
