Since joining the Pac-12 in 2011, Colorado Football has had just two winning seasons in the conference of champions. Oregon Football has been a thorn in their side, losing to the Buffaloes just once since 2011 (that came in 2016). The talent gap between these two rosters means that HOW Oregon wins the game is almost as important as IF they win the game.

On today's episode of Locked On Ducks, Spencer McLaughlin is joined by Rian Winter (@SportsChat503) to discuss what Oregon fans are hoping will be a "relaxing" week of cheering on the Ducks. Colorado's offense in 2021 was one of the weakest in the Pac-12, and right now their QB room has some uncertainty in it with JT Shrout expected to challenge Brendon Lewis for the starter's job. Losses on the offensive side of the ball via the transfer portal could make it another challenging year for the Colorado offense.

Buffs' HC Karl Dorrell is a defensive head coach, but their defense struggled mightily in Autzen Stadium in 2021, surrendering 52 points to the Oregon offense. A couple transfers could potentially help, but losses in the secondary via the transfer portal could make them vulnerable. Is there any chance that Colorado can pull what would seemingly be a massive upset this year in Boulder?
