In essence, Project 2025 views Medicare and Medicaid as the source of our US Budget deficit, and that if eliminated, our budget would be balanced. This is a completely inaccurate assessment of our budget deficit, and a political bias against the shared Federal and State support for those with disabilities, children, seniors, and those with low incomes.

Also revealed are:
the work requirements to be imposed upon those vulnerable populations on Medicare and Medicaid,
the inefficient bureaucracies to be established by regulating medical care solely at the State level, and
the view that Medicare and Medicaid are “run-away entitlements” for those in true need of medical services.
