Dr. Seuss' timeless holiday classic gets a loud and abrasive feature-film adaptation with Ron Howard's HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS from 2000! Jim Carrey is putting in some work behind all of that amazing (and apparently agonizing) makeup, but is that enough to get past the film's harsh and weirdly creepy tone?
