Cheryl Kramer Kaye has been writing and editing for women's magazines for three decades, including in-house at Harper's Bazaar, Redbook, Fitness, Star, and Shape. These days, she serves as the beauty director for NextTribe and spends a lot of time talking about beauty products on TV.

We, Adrienne + Stephanie, met Cheryl in 2014 on a Shape Magazine shoot. We loved her energy instantly. She had us included in a piece about “loving” yourself. Some loved their freckles, others loved their curly hair, we were chosen to be the ones who “loved our red hair”. The piece was so ahead of its time – pre-Lizzo, pre-self-acceptance.
We're so excited for the H2BAR audience to meet Cheryl. Get ready to get some solid beauty advice to guide you, and scroll below for many of her product recommendations. We asked her the following questions:
1.When did you first go red? Do you remember the moment?
2.You’ve had a long career as a beauty expert. What is your top tip about fading red hair?
3.You wrote an article for PSYCOM called “Dopamine Dressing: How what you wear affects how you feel”. What colors do you suggest for redheads?
4.You’ve written about menopause recently, specifically hot flashes. Do our hormones affect our hair and skin? And if so, how?
5.You’re a woman who exudes confidence. What tips do you have for our listeners about living a confident life?

We ask her the following questions:
1.What was it like for you growing up as a redhead?
2.Three (3) out of your four (4) children have red hair! Obviously, you’re a redhead but we see on your IG/TikTok that dad is a brunette. Does he have any redheads on his side of the family? Everyone must ask: “Where did the red hair come from?!”
3.Do you ever get stopped by strangers when out with your children? What do they say?
4.Stephanie’s son isn’t a redhead but has super sensitive skin. Do any of your kids have sensitive skin? If so, what products do you use to help combat the sensitivity?
5.How about sunburns? What is your go-to baby/kids sunscreen? How do you keep them safe in the sun?
6.What products do you love to use for their red hair? Any special shampoos or hair products?
7.We noticed you wear so many different colors and we love it! Pink, white, yellow, beige etc. What’s your favorite color to wear with your red hair? How about your kids? Do you think about what colors will bring out their red hair when buying their clothes?
8.We love your ‘Get Ready With Me’ videos on TikTok! What are some of your go-to makeup products?!

She received a Master's Degree from New York University (NYU) and her extensive education assists her in working with a variety of personality types. She utilizes her intuitive nature and attention to detail to select the best matches. Daliya’s years as a performer, personal Matchmaker, and Dating Coach make her an expert in finding the joy in dating. Her clients love her for being encouraging and giving them the confidence to move forward with exploring the dating world and validating their decisions and feelings around it.
Interested in working with Daliya?! Reach out to her here.
We asked Daliya some of these questions and we loved her advice:
1.We usually open our conversations with “What was your experience like growing up as a redhead?” but we wanted to take it a step further and ask you – what was it like growing up as a redhead, and how was it DATING as a redhead in the beginning?
2. How has dating changed from when you first started to now? How have you seen dating norms change over the last 10 years?
3.Do you think redheads (both men and women) are in a unique situation when it comes to dating?
4.BRAVO’s 'Millionaire Matchmaker', Patti Stanger, said, “Wealthy men hate redheads.” This was back in 2011 and we never believed her when we heard this. We were wondering if this is the case for you. Do some men/women prefer redheads, do some prefer NOT to date redheads?
5.For redhead women, do they ever consult with you about beauty tips before going on a date?
6.Let’s talk profile pics! Red hair is loud in proud in dating profile pics. How can a redhead best communicate who they are and what they’re looking for with their profile pic? Any tips?
7.Do you have redhead clients? Is there anything similar about what they all want?
8.How did you get into matchmaking?! What is your #1 tip for redheads (male or female) when dating?
