With 31 years of dedication to the financial services industry, Rich brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in helping his clients plan for a secure financial future. As owner of the Wesselt Capital Group, Rich uses a relationship driven, individual-based approach to macroeconomic planning. He works creatively with each client to address appropriate savings and protection programs and develops a financial blueprint that is unique to their personal goals and objectives.
Born and raised in the Norristown area, Rich graduated from Bishop Kenrick High School, where he excelled as a quarterback and went on to attend the University of Pennsylvania, where he also was the quarterback and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the prestigious Wharton School. Having achieved excellence in the insurance industry, Rich is a member of Top of the Table which gives credence to his ability to serve his client base with unparalleled distinction. He held the lead as top producer for 15 years straight with one major life insurance company. He currently has over $20,000,000 of in force premium, $1.5 Billion in death benefit and insures over 4,000 lives. Rich continues to write over 300 lives per year. Rich is proud of the office support team he has in place which has been consistent for over ten years and of his client base, which currently exceeds over 2,000. He is now serving second and third generation clients at his practice.
Rich and his wife Amy reside in Skippack and have two sons, Logan, who is 15 years old and Carson, age 12. Rich is also a very active member of his community. He coaches both football and basketball for the various youth organizations his sons participate in. He is involved with Pope John Paul II High School and enjoys sharing the concept of how hard, dedication and preparation will truly pay off to the youth of our area. He is a proud member of Holy Savior parish.
Rich truly enjoys the face to face meeting with clients and feels good about the way he is able to help them achieve their goals. He looks forward to having his sons join him at the practice in the future, so that they can also continue to serve the generations to come.
