One of the happiest times in a young woman's life is when she is in love, and one of the most confusing times in a young man's life is when he's in a relationship with that young woman who is in love.
Young couples in love often make haste decisions based on their emotions. The woman expects so much from the man, and he in turn expects so much from her. It starts to seem as if they don't understand each other anymore, and this only adds to what is already becoming a very tense relationship.
Sound familiar? What if you were able to be the fly on the wall and hear what your partner is really thinking and feeling? Well meet Victor and Charmaine, two young people who are in love but experiencing some stressful times in their relationship.
The story begins with Charmaine leaving Victor because she is looking for a stronger commitment, and he is clueless as to why she left. They both tell their side of the relationship as the story unravels. Then you witness their reaction after having a confrontation with one another.
Victor is in love with Charmaine, and she is in love with him; but when they clash, their love is tested.
Filled with drama, relationship truth, urban love, and a whole lot of confusion, anyone currently in a relationship will appreciate this love affair between Charmaine and Victor and realize that money can't buy love, even if you're rich.

    Impressive
Clark and Smith's voices work well together to fully capture the essence of "Money Can't Buy Love," and although I can't say I agree with the sentiment expressed by the title I can say that I enjoyed listening. Would recommend for an exciting evening!

Great Narrarive in the native Portuguese language
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
Yes. I recommend the audio to my husband during our plane ride and will recommend to my friends.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
The story was short with plenty of action however unrealistic at the end. I would have wanted a story to have an ending where justice would have been served than death.
What about Cindy C. A. Pereiras performance did you like?
I felt the action and suspense and wanted to know more as it went on. I also kept interested due to the great narrative and the different changes in the feelings.
I felt the emotions of the elder mother the brutality came across and a son's pain and desire to revenge. The feelings were so felt as the voice tone switched between the characters came across clearly during the narrative. In addition, the tone and spacing also felt very good.
Was TSA CONTRA O POVO: Um Conto de Vingança [TSA Against the People: A Tale of Revenge] worth the listening time?
Yes it was a pleasure to listen to the voice of a native Portuguese, very clear , real and rich rather than just a translated piece. Excellent audio.i have also recommended the audio to my husband who also speaks the language and he also liked the audio for almost the same reasons.

    Members Reviews:
    Dan Fowler G-Man
Production of book is nice, though the spine is slightly off center. Cover art is okay, but might have worked better if the coloring was toned down. The b&w interior art was well done. This is the first new Fowler volume since 1953, and it's good to see the G-Man back in action. There are four stories, each approximately 15,000 words.
"The Dungeon Of Death" by Gregory Bastianelli leads off the volume with a mad scientist (professor of theology), dying of cancer. Worried about life after death, he has two stooges kidnap bums and hobos from the streets. By killing them, but he hopes to find what lies beyond death. The F.B.I. is called into the case when they kill a sailor. No crime solving techniques. Fowler goes under cover to set himself up as a victim, is captured with Larry Kendal and Sally Vane, then subjected to torture. The author tells us about a venomous Madagascar Millipede (he calls an insect), though I've never heard of one. Madagascar Millipedes are poisonous if you eat them. They aren't venomous. Centipedes are venomous, and their bite is nasty. Nor are they insects. Writing is awkward and could have been tightened.
"Harvest of Crime" by B.C. Bell is a gem of a tale involving a manhunt. A bank robbery leads a team of F.B.I. and law enforcement to a farm where the crooks are holed up. The leader escapes after a shoot out, killing an F.B.I. agent, and Dan Fowler is assigned the case with his partner, Larry Kendal. Well written, and entertaining. This is a nice tribute to the original series.
"The Music Of Murder" by Aaron Smith. Uh, let's see, musicians hypnotize an audience with their music, and while they are under mind control, the band robs them. Then a senator is killed by this technique, which brings in the F.B.I. Sally Vane and her cousin - who is deaf - are flown in to help uncover the deeds. Fowler beats the bandleader in the police cell until he divulges information about his boss. Fowler sends Sally and her cousin back to Washington, then he and Larry Kendal head to Chicago to get the boss. He is captured, tempted by a Chinese pleasure girl, then has to fight a big Chinaman, and all the time the mastermind is holding Sally Van and her cousin (when and how did he get them?) on a platform above a shark pool! This is poorly written, and a bad plot.
"The League of Dead Patriots" by Andrew Salmon is a well-written story, but really goes nowhere. Fowler and Kendal are after black marketers with a military connection, which leads to a Japanese Internment Camp in northern California. The Domino Lady and a mysterious man named Joe McGoohan, who appears to be aiding the mastermind, balk them at every turn.
There were some typos throughout the book, but not enough to be distracting.

They Say Those That Do Nothing When They See Bullying Are Just as Bad, One Old Man Decides to Intervene
The Walk Home is a short story that you'll get through pretty quickly, revolving around a war veteran who decides he is not going to just watch any longer as a school kid is beaten up after he gets off the school bus everyday by three cowardly older kids. Mild spoiler- The ending lets it down a bit as you wonder what is going to happen when the kid gets off the bus the next day. Will his situation be over or worse. But other than that, it's a pretty good short story.

    Isabelle Scott
The title of the book was so long, I almost didn't want to listen to the book. Wasn't to excited about the cover either. Boy, am I glad I listened to this story! The story is told in first person, by Isabelle. It depicts her life story, the triumphs, but mostly the tribulations she went through. She wrote everything of significance that occurred to her, as well as her feelings. I loved how she always ended writing in her diary. I had tears in my eyes a few times, but a lot more at the end. For a book to do that, to capture your emotions in that way,....well, it takes talent to do that. And C.H. Borderlon definitely has the talent. Great read!
