How many times have your asked when challenges arise :
Why did this happen to me? Or why me? I didn't deserve this?!!
Have you felt like curling up and dying after having one of those gut punching challenges?? (hands up anyone? I have )
But, as much as you feel like you didn't deserve the things that happened to you, they did, and there is a reason why and it's called - 'Growth'
The mentality of 'why me'? keeps you stuck playing the lead role who's a victim in a movie called "Your Life". Drama sells (as you know) but inner peace rules.
You do get to choose which role you wish to play every day (free wil) but after a while it takes it toll on your health and wellbeing. That's why I made the shift to self empowerment.
To switch out of this victim mentality story, you need change the person in the story "yourself". And you do this by taking ownership of your thoughts and actions.
