• I've invested a lot in companies that have had issues in the media and it's viewed in the short-medium that they'll recover in the end because the band or product is strong enough to prevail. • Another way of investing can be to use a tracker fund that tracks the market going up and down. These are very low costs and over the long term do very well. You could use a fund manager, however, over the very long term they don't generally do much better than a tracker
