Oregon Football has a lot of roster management to figure out in the coming weeks with the portal window closing and another signing day looming. The Ducks are currently over the limit of 85 scholarship players, how will that number come down?
On today's episode of Locked On Ducks, Spencer McLaughlin looks at how Oregon could get their number of players down as they continue to look at adding players from the prep ranks or via the portal. One of those targets appears to be former 5-star DL and South Carolina Gamecock, Jordan Burch. The Ducks should be interested in him, but he may not be the homerun addition some might think.
The last time Oregon had a great defense (2019) it was led by Kayvon Thibodeaux and an elite secondary, with solid but not special linebackers. Just how relevant is that position in today's pass-happy football style for the Ducks' defense?
