**What is Tomb Sweeping Day? **

Tomb Sweeping Day, Qingming Festival or Pure Brightness Festival, is a traditional Chinese holiday that usually falls on April 4th or 5th in the Gregorian calendar. It is a time for Chinese people to pay their respects to their ancestors by visiting and cleaning their graves, offering sacrifices, and burning incense.

In addition to tomb sweeping, people may also participate in other traditional activities such as flying kites, spring outings, and enjoying the beautiful blooming of flowers. Tomb Sweeping Day is not only a time to honor the deceased but also a time to appreciate and enjoy the beauty of nature.
