After a minor hiatus of Thanksgiving and NY Times hecticness - WE ARE BACK! Boy are we ever! We talk to Elise Barclay this week who not only curates a corporate collection (too cool) but also is a few hoops away from being a certified functional health coach and we get INTO IT! Alexis cries. In a good way, but like, we take it there! Our bodies and practices are all intertwined and it behooves us to treat it holistically and Elise is here to give us some tools and we are GRATEFUL! CAPSLOCK! EXCLAMATION POINTS!

Minutes after reading Dana Kopel's incredible article for The Baffler Against Artsploitation we knew we had to talk to her, see how she's doing, what she's learned, and if she would share with us these thoughts and we were lucky enough that she said YES! If you haven't read the article, click through and do a quick read, it is an incredible breakdown of what is happening at New Museum specifically, but also in the art world in general in regards to labor practices. Then, listen to her share more, THEN READ MORE FROM HER - link below - she's fantastic! Enjoy!
