Hysteria 51

It's another switcheroo week on Hysteria 51 as the boys from Canada take over to tell the tale of Donald Shrum and the Cisco UFO Encounter

The Cisco UFO EncounterIn 1964, then 26-year-old Donald Shrum, with two of his close friends, traveled up into the Sierra Nevada mountain range of Northeastern California. Known to history as “Gold Country” the mountains not only possess rich mineral variety but also boast an impressive abundance of plant and animal life. Shrum and his companions were set to participate in a leisurely weekend of bowhunting among the pristine forests and rugged ridges set within Tahoe National Park. Shrum had no idea that on this trip he would have an experience that would fill his nightmares for years. An experience that would stay locked within the files of official UFO investigators until finally brought to light in 2005. This case file, join the Theorists as they talk about archery and shaft work in... The Cisco UFO Encounter

Kid gets genetically altered pre-birth. Kids gets his low hangers grabbed by a Jawa freeloading a sandwich from his fridge who happened to be a government operative testing him. Kid gets stationed on Mars for almost 2 decades. The now adult kid gets de-aged back to kid and told adios by Donald Rumsfeld during a ceremony on the moon. Kid now teaches psionics, and for a nominal fee he can teach YOU. I know what you are thinking, that’s a tale as old as time. Everyone knows someone who has been through it, but darn it this week we are focusing on Randy Cramer and HIS experience protecting mining colonies on Mars! And, it’s dangerous to go alone, so Rob Kristoffersen of Our Strange Skies joins Brent to break down all the Captain Kaye shenanigans this week on the podcast that’s never been to Mars but knows a certain robot we would love to send there – Hysteria 51

Stanley Meyer, the man who claimed to have built a car that ran on water. Hydrogen specifically, but through his inventions and patents, he claimed to be able to do what no one before or since has been able to do (even with his own designs). He stated the government was interested in his invention and it would radically change the world. Then his untimely death in 1998 at just 57 years of age while yelling “they poisoned me” made headlines around the world. Did Stanley really create a working water fuel cell? Was he silenced by Big Oil? Why did my father watch Hee-Haw? We take a crack at answering at least 2 of those questions with the aid of David Flora of Blurry Photos fame this week on Hysteria 51

Here is something new as a treat for you to help celebrate Ghostbusters: Afterlife!

Need some sweet ASMR action to sooth you to sleep? We found the sound that fits in with H51 and is awesome!

What the heck is ASMR you ask? Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR), sometimes also called auto sensory meridian response is a tingling sensation that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. A pleasant feeling from some audio or visual triggers.  And what if you don't experience ASMR??? This is still a Proton Pack sound so enjoy!

It's Thanksgiving time here in the Lower 4th Dimension. That means time for reflection, and we have just the reflection in mind. This week we fire up the way-back machine to travel to the pre-pandemic utopia that was 2015 for our very first time recording a podcast EVER!

This was just a test to see if we could have a back and forth and keep a conversation flowing over different topics. And, it is ROUGH!!! And unedited! And terrible! We talk a little bit of everything here... Sports, Movies, UFC, and on and on.  Just to see what was fun and if we even could, like I said before, keep an episode going. So here it is, our never released first attempt at podcasting!

Kids hearing noises? Talking to the Devil? Popping their toe joints? If you answered yes to any of these questions then you are in luck! They could have an exciting life in store for them. A life of fame and travel just like the Fox sisters of New York. Why did these 1800’s small town Methodists turn to a life of talking to spirits? Just where does the term Mesmerize come from? Why is KYLE such a good DJ? We tackle all of this and more with the help of none other than Mr. Blurry Photos himself, David Flora on the podcast that doesn’t always talk sisters, but when we do,they sure as hell better be known for rapping - Hysteria 51

It's a 2-fer this week as Brent is joined by Producer Lisa to talk all things MONSTERS! Including her favorite childhood film, Little Monsters. AND we sneak in a CAFEteria 51 to try the Peanut Butter and Onion sandwiches Fred Savage loved in the film.  Plus Brent tries to pronounce Latin terms (it goes poorly), Lisa calls Goforth a monster (not surprising), and CBot still sucks (duh).  All that and more on the podcast that doesn’t always search for monsters, but when we do Peanut butter is involved - Hysteria 51.

A little girl is found dead on Christmas day in a small Midwestern town. That same night a mysterious young woman moves to town and is revealed to be none other than the ghost of the little girl, and she is determined to piece together the vague memories of her own demise. That's the short-short run down of Double Walker a new movie from Colin West and Sylvie Mix.  They both join me this week to talk making ghost stories, living in a haunted house, and what it's really like to make a movie. Plus, CBot tells us his favorite paranormal comedy (It's disturbing),  KYLE talks REVENGE (spoiler, it involves cheese muffins), and Brent tries to keep it all together while John is still out welcoming in his new baby girl to the world.  All this and more on the podcast that doesn’t always talk about ghosts. But when we do, they are out for revenge - Hysteria 51
