Today, I’m excited for you to hear my conversation with Laina, a mother and librarian who struggles with pairing clothes and not getting enough wear out of certain items in her closet.  

This conversation was such a fun exploration, not just of the closet Laina has today, but of the journey she took to build this closet. I was particularly moved by Laina’s reflections on her style influences. Her stories about her fashionable grandmother and her dad’s unabashedly bold style really highlight how our family can shape our fashion sensibilities. Laina's journey from adhering to childhood fashion rules to granting herself the freedom to experiment is both relatable and inspiring.
