I Miss You Man

We’ve interrogated Batman and Superman, so it’s about time we looked into the friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man. Everyone loves him... but what can be better? Is there too much multiverse stuff? Are we sick of Peter Parker? What about an old Spidey? If it's controversial, if it's a hot take, if it's Spider-Man, we're onto it.

Lonnie found himself with engaging in two stories about curses recently and that got him thinking – what’s the go with curses? Are they real? Are they real if you believe in them? Or does stuff just happen? Have a listen as the fellas figure it out, once and for all.

And our Get Amongst It suggestion this week… Nathan Fielder’s “The Curse” and “The Iron Claw” starring Zac Efron.

It’s another instalment of The Christina Chronicles, our deep dive into the filmography of Christina Ricci! This week – Bel Ami!

Robert Pattinson is supposed to be French and he’s supposed to be sexy. We love the guy but in this movie, he’s neither. But Christina is pretty damn good in Bel Ami (unsurprisingly!)

You may wonder if you’re the arsehole in a given situation. You might even go to Reddit to ask strangers for their take. And maybe you did this, and maybe Lonnie found the question and maybe Dylan is going to finally tell you. Maybe you should listen to this week’s episode to find out for sure.

It was inevitable that we’d watch the sports entertainment show Gladiators at some point in our podcast’s run. So here we are, watching episodes of the original 1990s show (brilliant), the 2008 reboot (average) and the new 2024 iteration (not bad). Listen for all our thoughts, mainly about how much we love Vulcan!

It’s another instalment of The Christina Chronicles, our deep dive into the filmography of Christina Ricci! This week – Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star!

Bucky Larson is a famously terrible movie. But on this episode of the podcast, Lonnie and Dylan ask the question: what if it isn’t that bad?

Sledging in cricket is the art of mental disintegration. But it’s also a bit rude! This week the fellas have dived into the world of trash talk in cricket. Is it ethical? Is it funny? Where is the line? If you’ve ever wondered, this is the podcast for you.

And our Get Amongst It suggestion this week… The recent Moneyball / Lord of the Rings crossover memes.

Rotten Tomatoes is where the world goes to see if movies are good or bad. It’s not perfect but it’s a temperature check for how critics and audiences are responding. So can Dylan and Lonnie guess the critic and audience scores for famous movies? Do they have their fingers on the pulse of society? Well they’re going to try! And next year’s Christmas special topic is on the line so the stakes have never been higher.

It’s another instalment of The Christina Chronicles, our deep dive into the filmography of Christina Ricci! This week – Alpha and Omega!

Christina is back in a smaller role this time, in this middling kids animated movie. Alpha and Omega is not bad but it’s not spectacular and it’s a bit naughtier than you probably expect!
