Captain Darren Hardy joined the British Army in 2003. Through his leadership he was promoted onto officer training at Sandhurst, graduating within the top third of his cohort. After sustaining physical injuries, he was discharged from the forces, but thanks to his experience as an Army Physical Training Instructor, Darren was selected to represent team UK at the 2018 Warrior Games. Winning two gold medals, Darren continued to take on extraordinary fitness challenges and has supported many charities. One of his latest charity events, is to run five marathons in fifty hours for children with the rare brain disease, H-ABC.
