Although it's a hard concept for some to grasp, words mean things, and there is an important distinction between accountability and harassment. Having a platform means accepting responsibility for your words and actions—and criticism isn't harassment, it's an opportunity to learn and grow. When someone responds to accountability by playing victim months later, that tells me everything I need to know.
