PGA golfer Patrick Reed gets approval for a  decision he makes at Torrey Pines during tournament play.  Lighten up already, the officials made the same decision for Rory Mcllroy.  It's fine.  It looks like he may have made a mistake with his ball placement but it was ruled legal so give him a break.  He won by 5 strokes.  Hear my opinion of it all on today's rant.

Here we go again.  Marvin Bagley's father just can't control himself.  He's insulting his son, the team and the coaching staff when the reality is, Marvin needs to learn defense.  And he will.  In time.  But let's end this embarrassment of parenting thru social media insult.  Enough is enough.  Mr. Bagley seems to have forgotten it's not about Marvin playing time but team wins that count in the long run and right now, one does not equal the other.  Of course I have more to say in today's rant.

How on earth can management and ownership be so screwed up that they have one of the most talented quarterbacks in the NFL wanting to leave the franchise.  Are you freakin' kidding me?  What's wrong with those people?  Worse yet, what if they do lose him?  You think they're going to find another quarterback like that?  I can answer that question now but if you listen to the rant, you'll hear it right from my lips to your ears.

If you're a baseball fan, you know by now the Baseball Hall of Fame will not be inducting anyone this year.  That's right.  Nobody received enough votes to make it.  Not Barry Bonds or Roger Clemens and they have only one more year left to get voted in.  They're Hall of Fame guys.  Their play over a career cannot be taken away, doping or not.  We've all got opinions on it and why.  Hear mine on today's rant.

Kevin Durant is a superstar NBA player.  Yes, he's that good.  But what comes with that territory is criticism from all around.  Too bad, Kevin, that's the way it's done.  Deal with it. Ignore it but it's going to come your way. He needs to grow up already, and get some thicker skin.  I'll explain what I think caused the recent moping in today's rant.  Enjoy!

Major League Baseball's Eric Byrnes sure is passionate about his projects.  You'll hear that come through loud and clear today as we have a conversation about all he's doing right now and this boy is busy!  He's launched a non-profit entity called "The Let Them Play Foundation", has a podcast, a fitness program and now, "No Filter Network" doing some unique approaches to disrupt the traditional broadcast way of listening to sport play-by-play.  You have to hear him tell his story with all the emphasis and energy only he can bring to the table.  

Today also marks the 1 year anniversary of Kobe Bryant's death.  I'm compelled to recognize the date and share my memories of what I was doing, where I was and who I was with on this day one year ago.  It's still so very hard to believe.

Give the NBA credit for trying.  But the COVID protocols have now caused 21 games to be postponed.  So it's a great effort but good enough. I'm going to say it.  I told you so.  This was inevitable.  How are you going to make those games up in the season?  What's going to happen with baseball?  That's an even bigger disaster waiting happen.  Let's hope not.  Let's talk about it for minute today.
