No one talks about how much it matters to get things done you say you are going to get done. When we delay, avoid, or choose to leave things undone it call slowly kill our confidence. What's worse is how it can impact how much confidence others have in us.
Today's episode I share one simple process I use when I am feeling a little off my confidence game. How I go about raising my confidence quickly and at the same time get things done.
Think about something you have wanted to do for a long time but you keep putting it off. How much mental and physical energy is it taking up simply because you haven't done it? Do you realize your brain can invent beliefs based on what you are NOT doing as much as what you ARE doing? When you don't do what you say you are going to do or what you want to do, you brain begins to believe you are a person who isn't reliable.
Over time, you can build a lack of trust in yourself. That's not productive for your self worth or personal belief systems.
One really quick way to bring up your confidence is to get things done! What's not getting done? Write it down and then DO it! Do it as soon as possible and you will see and feel your confidence increase immediately. You will have a sense of accomplishment and you will raise your belief in yourself. The gap between feeling confident and feeling low self worth can literally be impacted by your to do list.
Make your list, complete what is on your list, and see your confidence soar!
