On today's Colts Cast Jake Arthur joins Matt Danely to discuss some of the potential first-round talent that could possibly get pushed back into the second round, giving teams really excellent value for their services. There are always some great re-draft players who ended up in the second round or later and this year is almost certain to produce the same results.

Jake Arthur joins Matt Danely to interview two very interesting prospects who are actually quite familiar with each other. USC guard Viane Talamaivao and UCLA defensive tackle Jacob Tuioti-Mariner are in the thick of the pre-draft process and hoping to see their name in bright lights as the 2018 NFL Draft inches closer. 

We hear what makes these guys tick, why their respective college quarterback's should be the top pick in the NFL draft, how they see themselves benefiting their future NFL team's, their respective strengths and what they love about the position they each play. Two very good interviews on tap from two very quality guys that you won't want to miss.

We continue to break into the positional scouting side of the pre-draft process as Stephen Reed joins the Colts Cast to give us a better idea of what the interior defensive linemen look like in this year's NFL Draft. We touch on who's best suited for which role along the defensive line, who would be a nice fit for the Colts transitioning defensive scheme, who his top dogs are, as well as a look at some of the prospects who will come off the board on Day 3.

We also are continuing our prospect interviews as Brad North -- Northwestern G/C -- joins the show to talk about his path to becoming an NFL prospect.

Today we begin getting into some prospect interviews, and first on our list is Sam Mentkowski WR from Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Sam ran an impressive 4.41 40-yard dash, rocked a 4-flat short shuttle and a 6.76 3-cone drill which all would have put him in the top 10 at the position at the NFL Combine. He talks about his road to becoming an NFL prospect, what he offers an NFL franchise and much more.

Tonight with all of the recent rule adoptions to a flawed NFL rule book, Matt Danely dives into the most recent additions and tries to make sense of it all. The catch rule is altered, the NFL's version of the NCAA's targeting rule makes things very cloudy and the competition committee gets another potential rule tabled. Also, Matt takes his swing at a Indianapolis Colts 3-round mock draft to go out and get some serious talent and I think you'll like it.

In the wake of the New York Giants trading away Jason Pierre-Paul to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers the No. 2 overall pick seems to possibly take a new turn. Do they take Bradley Chubb at No. 2 now, and pass on a quarterback in the back end of Eli Manning's career? Or, do they grab either Saquon Barkley or a quarterback of their liking and leave the door open for the Colts to get hiim at No.. 6? Also, I go through some of the Colts options for either scenario and take a deeper look at some of the other edge rushers you may not be as familiar with.

The past 24 hours has featured the Indianapolis Colts becoming much more active in free agency than they'd been in the previous week combined. Finally, after initially signing Denico Autry, the Colts have added Ryan Grant, Matt Slauson, Eric Ebron and have re-signed Pierre Desir. Kevin Bowen (1070 the fan) joins Matt Danely to talk about which of these signings is the most intriguing, who holds realistic expectations and which holds the most potential. Matt and Kevin also discuss the Colts current draft position and the different scenarios that are still on the table.
