Today in preparation for the Indianapolis Colts matchup with the Buffalo Bills, Matt goes through 3 things to watch for their matchup. Also, Matt joins Kevin Massare on his show, Locked on Bills, to discuss the Colts season to this point, how the Andrew Luck situation and other important injuries have affected the team. Additional topics are; Jacoby Brissett, the Colts defense, what the matchup could lead to if Tyrod Taylor does/doesn't play and much more. The Colts and Bills could also be playing in several inches of snow which may affect their respective gameplans.

Arguably the best offseason acquisition John Simon has recently been added to the Indianapolis Colts IR after re-aggravating his previous neck injury last week and Pierre Desir has also been lost for the season. Desir has been a key contributor since the release of Vontae Davis for the Colts, and now with Rashaan Melvin nursing a jacked up hand, the secondary is especially thin right now. Considering all of this, two rookies will be getting some very important snaps as the Colts' season winds down. Quincy Wilson and Tarell Basham have a lot to prove to the new GM and to themselves as they close out this season and hope to leave it on a good note with the offseason right around the corner.

When you turn the ball over twice, when you can't score in the red zone and can't stop the opposition in the same area the Indianapolis Colts simply aren't going to win any games. The Jacksonville Jaguars brought their defensive intensity in to this matchup, but the Colts left theirs in Indianapolis as they allowed Blake Bortles to march his offense up and down the field with ease and couldn't get off the field on third downs. Additionally, the Colts couldn't convert on third down, but were strangely successful on fourth down. Either way, this 30-10 final was NOT indicitive of the flow of the game. The Colts simply don't have any more left in the tank.

When looking back at the Indianapolis Colts awful showing in their first meeting, the Jacksonville Jaguars haven't skipped a beat in between matchups. The Colts have, however, and will need their defense to show up for a full fourth-quarter outing while also having their offense wake up and put some points on the board this time around. Matthias Farley's health is of underrated importance as a tweak of that knee could force Clayton Geathers to play a bit longer. John Simon is back to help his partner in crime Jabaal Sheard get back to offering a two-sided pass rush that the Colts have been without while Simon was getting healthy.
