We're closing out the month with a Deep Stretch episode. Taylor had the opportunity to lead a series of workshops for a dance company that were centered around body positivity and body neutrality. As it pertains to self care, these two things are not only necessary but also require a reflection of nuance.
What works for some may not work for others, maybe body positivity is taking a front seat at this point in your life and neutrality comes up at a different time. Remind yourself that loving responses are necessary during these conversations with yourself and others. As you listen to this episode, take time to reflect, pause if you need to, and give yourself permission to explore nuance you may be ignoring regarding your self care.

The conversations you have with your body have a significant impact on your physical, emotional, and mental well being. That's why it's important to fill yourself with grace and kindness. Remember, you're human! In this episode, take some time to think about how you speak to yourself when you're doing something really hard, or something new. How do you respond to the cues your body sends you throughout the day? Do you eat when you're hungry? Do you nap when you're exhausted? Listen to this episode and don't forget to RSVP for our next Inner Co Working Session!

Finding alternative movements during a yoga sequence, using certain skincare products, or avoiding specific foods are all ways of accommodating for your body. As you listen to this episode, it might help to think of your body as your home. How do you make space for the things your body needs or desires?

Adrienne Maree Brown said "there is no way to repress pleasure, and expect liberation, satisfaction or joy." That means, we must understand what feels good to us in order to fully experience the pleasure, liberation, satisfaction, and joy that we all deserve. Many of us were taught to feel with our minds, not our bodies. Yet our bodies give us signals, our bodies tell a story about what is pleasurable, what feels good. So, the question on the table is what feels good in your body?

October is here and we are jumping into the physical dimension! That means there will be lots of discussion around our bodies as a whole. In this episode, I interview you on how or even if your body shows up. When you make decisions, when you're out and about, when you're entering into new relationships...do you take time to listen to and consider what your body is telling you?
Reminder, our Inner Co-Working session for this month will be held on October 10th. RSVP today!
