A BIG (and we mean BBIIGG) thank you to all for making ‘Multi21, Team Orders and PR Talk’ one of our most subscribed to podcasts across all our platforms. (Hear: http://bit.ly/ZnHQnE)

Here’s what is in store for you in this podcast: (YouTube channel: http://youtu.be/2bzA7TzJBn0) - V6 = DJ Tiesto! (No, this isn’t some weird logic!) - Overdose on multi21, team orders and Webber; did you suffer from one too? - Mark Webber was wearing wool in the heat and humidity of Malaysia. Rishi explains! - We discuss Webber’s race options for the 2014 Formula1 Season. A few obvious and interesting ones. - And when Webber moves, who will replace him? Hear our options. - Will Ferrari lose one more driver from their Driver Academy to a rival team? We think so…

If you were Mark Webber, what would you do? Which team would you choose to go to? And of course, if you were Red Bull Racing, who would you choose to replace him with? Share your views with us.

And of course, next week, we will have our 2013 Chinese Grand Prix preview podcast. Till then, Keep Racing!

Our earlier podcast ‘If Schumacher Turns TV Commentator’ received some rave reviews. If you’ve not heard it already, go ahead and do so. (Hear: http://bit.ly/13SV8Ap)

For those keen to read, here’s the latest on Narain Karthikeyan and Karun Chandhok: 1. Narain Karthikeyan Switches From Formula1 To AutoGP In 2013 (http://bit.ly/ZQEXOS) 2. Karun Chandhok To Race In the FIA GT World Series In 2013 (http://bit.ly/YzntrJ)

And my favourite post on Newey and Brawn: ‘Will We See Adrian Newey vs Ross Brawn Finally?’ (Read: http://bit.ly/A7FbqV)

The 2013 Malaysian Grand Prix provided all the excitement on and off track. My post ‘Emotions, Tensions And Vettel Score A Win’ saw debates and opinions fly all over on my Formula1 blog and on social media. While the initial comments were all in favour of Webber, the scales tilted Vettel and his ruthlessness as fans slept over the incident! Hopefully Webber did too…!

Given the incidents and topics in Sepang over the Malaysian GP weekend, Rishi and I had to make an effort to keep this Formula1 podcast short and simple. When we saw the final length, I know we had succeeded in our efforts. Here’s what’s in store for you:

    - Multi 21, we try and dissect the term! Rishi gets innovative in his ways, again.

    - Webber vs Vettel, we give our view on the situation. We try and establish how both drivers saw the incident. And did this incident showcase an imbalance of power in Red Bull Racing?
    - Also, could Red Bull Racing have managed this better? And we mean like Brawn did at Mercedes?
    - On the Hamilton vs Rosberg incident, we offer our view too. Will Brawn take Rosberg’s side when it is time to?
    - Rishi’s question - ‘Why on earth did Perez pit on the penultimate lap’? And I try answer it!
    - What if Mclaren served Hamilton’s Mercedes? Who would FIA penalize and why?
    - Finally, Ferrari and Alonso’s first lap mistake. Argh! Who is to blame?
    - And Rishi believes that there was one driver who used Harry Potter’s ‘invisibility cloak’ in Sepang. Any guesses who it was?
    - We try and establish why Jules Bianchi and Marussia were probably the only happy team-driver pair to leave Sepang on Sunday night!

Much like Narain and Karun, we too move away from Formula1 as we go talking about Narain’s switch to AutoGP and Karun’s decision to race in the FIA GT Series. Some interesting content for Indian Motorsport fans!

And as Rishi asks, is controversy good for sport? Go hear what our view is…!

Our earlier podcast ‘If Schumacher Turns TV Commentator’ received some rave reviews. If you’ve not heard it already, go ahead and do so. (http://bit.ly/13SV8Ap)

The Inside Line F1 Podcast is produced by Rishi Kapoor and Kunal Shah. It can also be accessed via http://www.kunalsf1blog.com

Back to back Grand Prixs puts us in what Rishi calls it a ‘Formula1 Hangover’! And a hangover it is! Btw, it was Rishi birthday, so come pour in your wishes on this Formula1 podcast.

Here’s a quick view of what we discussed: (YouTube channel: http://youtu.be/Cn5e5AflO3g)

    - Driver of the day in the 2013 Australian Grand Prix, Rishi and I have differing views again!

    - What to expect in Malaysia, what will be different in Sepang for the Formula1 teams and drivers?
    - Back to back Grand Prixs, how does everyone prepare?
    - Two Nicos on the grid, both need to do something in Sepang what they couldn’t do so in Albert Park.
    - Will it be a tyre dominated GP again?
    - And the best part, we try and predict the pecking order.

I still expect the sport to take a few more races before the pecking order settles down. Till then, make your predictions, earn your bucks (or lose them!) and sit back and enjoy the action as ALL of Formula1 tries to understand the Pirelli tyres!

In the pre-season, while the Formula1 teams and drivers were testing, Rishi and I hosted our Formula1 Podcast Awards, introduced 11 new drivers to Formula1, paid tribute to Ross Brawn (his Last Formula1 Season?) and of course waited for ‘Testing to End, Racing to Begin’. (Now, if you’ve not already heard our pre-season podcasts, go ahead and click!)

We are now in ‘the’ week when Formula1 fans wait anxiously for the first ever racing weekend of the 2013 Formula1 season. The week when suspense takes over with ‘who will be the fastest?’ and with the stat in mind that 60% of the Australian GP winners have gone to win the Drivers’ Championship that season!

Anyhow, we observed our Mondays as usual and recorded our podcast which is also our preview of the 2013 Australian GP. In this week’s Formula1 Podcast, here’s what we discussed:

    - If Schumacher were to turn TV commentator…

    o We assess his competition
o And what they ‘could’ end up facing from Schumacher!
    - And there will be new drivers on the grid of the 2013 Australian Grand Prix, we try and pronounce their names! (Schumachers in the making?)
    - We share our memories from the Albert Park in the last few years. Some exciting duels, accidents and near wins and misses! (Have some of your own? Share them with us!)
    - And we play darts in dark – hear our podium predictions for the 2013 Australian Grand Prix. Agree or disagree?

Still on TV commentary, I would love to see what Kimi Raikkonen can do! ;)

Just the time of the 2013 Formula1 Season that we were waiting for – testing to end, racing to begin! It is that time of the year when all Formula1 fans sit back, observe timings and read as many reports available to find out the quickest teams from testing. However, like most years, it is only when the sport reaches the 2013 Australian Grand Prix does one find out the real truth.

In this week’s Formula1 Podcast, here’s what we discussed: (YouTube channel: ) - Adrian Sutil is back! Jules Bianchi got a seat too! Boy! Aren’t we happy! - Last week, we predicted Razia’s ouster. While we were proved right, we observe a minute’s silence for his now dead Formula1 dream (and hope for a quick resurrection!) - Question of the week: Were teams sandbagging in the pre-season tests? We answer! - We pick our top three teams basis the pre-season tests. Agree or disagree with our picks?

We’ve enjoyed bringing our pre-season podcasts to you and hope you’ve enjoyed it too. Now, like you, we eagerly await the start of the new Formula1 season. Excited, are you too?

  • The Inside Line - Last Formula1 Season For Ross Brawn

The Inside Line Formula1 Podcast is produced by Rishi Kapoor and Kunal Shah.

Last evening, Rishi and I met to record our weekly Formula1 podcast. It was only minutes before we started our recording that the news of Paddy Lowe cropped up in our inboxes. I think the first thought that crossed both our minds was that the 2013 Formula1 Season could be Ross Brawn’s last season in Formula1. Or will it? (Sigh!)

Here’s what else we discussed in our latest Formula1 podcast:

    - Our deductions from the test held last week in Barcelona. I just say that it is PR machinery on over-drive. Something no driver or team will ever say!

    - Pirelli tyres – will they be our reason for exciting races this season?
    - Formula1’s ‘rigged’ result – Rishi tells us what it is.
    - Lowe, Brawn and related talk. I’d love to visit the gardens of the Mclaren Technology Centre!
    - Razia and his sponsor issues. A seat available at Marussia?
    - Our reactions to the drop in viewership of our sport. And how it affects our podcasts!
    - And our big discussion – where will Narain Karthikeyan be in 2013? And also, Karun Chandhok? (Read: Narain Karthikeyan To Race For WilliamsF1 In 2013)

The 2013 Australian Grand Prix is only a few weeks away. The last pre-season test starts on 1st March. Plenty of talk, updates (and updates to those updates), gossip expected to come your way via our ‘Inside Line’ podcast. Keep listening, keep racing!

Our previous Formula1 Podcast on ‘Three Car Teams And 11 New Drivers In Formula1’ received a very good response from our listeners. Thank you!
