On today's episode, we are going to talk about suffering. I know it's not something that we usually like to talk about, but it is necessary.

We've been trained to think that life is supposed to be perfect all the time and when it's not, it means something is wrong.

Lee Harris recently said that he had made peace with the fact that he lives on a planet where suffering is part of the day. I really appreciated that viewpoint, as it is true. If you've lived life, you know this to be true.

The challenge is to not get sucked into the suffering and instead use it as a learning or healing.

On today's episode, we are talking about grief and how it is on its own timeline. It can be overwhelming and can surprise you with how long it stays and interrupts your life.

Grief is a big part of our learning and also our healing. It doesn't necessarily have to be losing someone. It can be death of a dream, marriage, the life you thought you wanted, etc.

We've come a long way in talking about grief. Anderson Cooper's podcast, All There Is, is a great podcast to listen to if you're going through grief or wanting to heal grief from the past.
