This week we are joined by Levi Jung-Ruivivar who is fresh off competing at the 2024 Paris Olympics! Levi, along with her teammates Emma Malybuyo and Aleah Finnegan made history by becoming the first female gymnasts to represent the Philippines at the Olympics in 60 years and it was a pretty crazy experience. Levi had a serious allergic reaction while in the Olympic Village just days before she competed, but she was able to overcome that and not only participate in the Opening Ceremony but also do pretty well in qualifications, hitting all four of her routines in her Olympic debut! Levi joins us to talk about the whole experience, including what she liked and disliked about the Olympic Village, her hopes for helping to grow the sport in the Philippines, why she chose Stanford and so much more.
