In this interview we talk about how she got recruited to NC State, advancing from a play in round (that her team shouldn't have even been in!!) to make it all the way to the regional finals, coming back from an achilles injury to have her best season yet as a senior, and so much more!

Sav is a 6th year transfer for LSU who has played such a big role to the success of this team in terms of her gymnastics, but also her leadership. WTF just happened?? - 2024 NCAA Championship Emergency Episode

Today’s guest is Abby Brenner who is a former gymnast at the University of Michigan and the University of Utah. During her athletic career Abby truly did it all from helping Michigan win its first ever national title in 2021 and winning two Big Ten Championships as a team. She then transferred to Utah for her 5th year where she helped Utah win the Pac-12 Championship as a team and took home the individual Pac-12 vault title. She closed out her career by earning NCAA All-American honors on bars and helping Utah to a 3rd place finish at the NCAA Championships.
In this episode Abby will talk about the misconceptions that sometimes surround transfer athletes, how the transfer process works, the challenges that come with being a D1 gymnast, areas she struggled with post-gymnastics, NIL, and so much more!
