Each episode convenes a seasoned elder, a middle-aged, and a younger Black woman to discuss a single topic ranging from changing perspectives on sex to what you wish you knew about money in your 20's to the collective state of our womanhood in these contemporary times. Their unique perspectives through regulatory, provocative, and introspective dialogue that can only come from the safe space that is created by Black women regardless of age. By delving into subjects that affect Black women across generations, this podcast provides a space for commonality, familiarity, honesty, insightful and sage discussions that ween the audience on the oracle that is Black womanhood by broadening perspectives and deepening understanding through wisdom, wit, laughter, tears, and joy.

This week hosts Tiffany Cross, Angela Rye, and Andrew Gillum ask: when will we see a Black woman in the US Senate?? The United States has only ever had three Black women as senators. Currently there are none, but two candidates may change that come November… 
 
Speaking of elections, what’s up with these Trump surrogates already denying the ‘24 election before it’s even happened? And what will actually happen if Trump loses in November but his supporters don’t accept the results? The hosts discuss this and the relevance (or not) of presidential debates. 
 
Then, our resident expert on all things FAMU, Andrew Gillum, covers the drama coming out of his alma mater. Florida A&M; University received a $237 MILLION dollar donation last week, complete with a huge check that they showed off at graduation. But it turns out the whole thing was a hoax??

TRIGGER WARNING: What Deserves a Platform? | MiniPod

And Gov Hochul isn’t the only politician garnering some controversy over racially-charged remarks. We got a reminder last week that some members of Congress are just straight up racist. And so we ask, are there white supremacists in Congress? Spoiler alert: yes, and the hosts will name a few. 
 
In Politics Are Everywhere we examine violence and the ongoing beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake. Given the drive-by shooting outside Drake’s house, the hosts ask: at what point does beef in hip hop culture go too far?

Veep v. “Mamala” | MiniPod
