Now at the halfway point of the season, everything is becoming clearer in the college football world from which teams are good and bad to who your conference champion contenders are. It's no different in the Big 12 Conference, as five teams have emerged as a favorites to take home the conference title... and one of those teams is the Arizona State Sun Devils football program. The same Sun Devils football team that was picked to finish last in the Big 12 is just one game out from first place in the conference at 5-1 and is playing as good of football as anyone else in their league. But as good as Arizona State Sun Devils football has been, we're left wondering if this team can win it all or if the season has been one big fluke. From what we've seen from Kenny Dillingham in year two, it feels unlikely that this is a fluke, but rather that he's ahead of the curve -- more so than we thought he would be in a complete rebuild of Arizona State Sun Devils football. But Dillingham's culture has been established and players, coaches, alumni, students, fans, and others are buying in. If they want to keep this bad boy rolling, the Sun Devils need to continue playing to their strengths and the identity they've established this season.
