Bye week number one has come and passed for Arizona State Sun Devils football and it's time for Kenny Dillingham and his team to prepare for the second third of the year. As Cam Skattebo put it, this is the second season of the 2024 year thanks to two bye weeks breaking up the year into four games each. The Sun Devils are 3-1 to start the year and fresh off a loss to Texas Tech. After nearly a month away from Tempe, the Sun Devils return home for game two of Big 12 Conference play and host the Kansas Jayhawks. Coming into the year, the Jayhawks were expected to be amongst the conference's top teams and a heavy-weight contender for the conference crown. However, UK has struggled out of the gate and enters this weekend 1-4. They've certainly underperformed, but that doesn't mean Arizona State Sun Devils football can overlook the Jayhawks. The biggest question that remains is are the Sun Devils ready for Big 12 play and to take on a still-talented Kansas Jayhawks football team.
