This week, Google is in court facing allegations it has illegally monopolised the internet. The Department of Justice is claiming Google is unfairly limiting competition through billion dollar agreements with providers like Samsung and Apple to ensure it is the default search engine on their products. Google denies it’s done anything wrong however, saying it dominates the market because it’s the best in the market. So is Google simply the best? Or has the tech giant broken the law?
