This episode: High School Musical 2
Note: the sound quality on this one is some rough stuff. We recorded in person for the first time. This may not be the best choice for your first episode to listen to.
We've dusted off the cobwebs in the theatre wing of the Is It Camp?! Palace for another musical! This time it's the incredibly popular Disney Channel made for TV sequel: High-School Musical 2!
Will Sarah mention the title of an Italian song that causes her cohost to feel like he's had a stroke? Can Sam stop rolling his eyes long enough to enjoy something about this film? Will our hosts encourage the proletariat of the film to rise up and throw off the shackles of oppression?
As a warning: audio may be weird because we are recording in person, and had no idea how it might go. Lessons for the future I guess.
This episode: The X-Men Hellfire Gala
Roll out the Green Carpet. Make sure your outfit is tailored perfectly. Check to see if you are in control of your mutant powers, because today we are heading to Krakoa to take part in the Hellfire Gala!
Does Sam know entirely too much about the X-Men? No. He doesn't. Whose outfit will Sarah fall in love with *instantly*? And can our hosts speed this up? Not likely.
It’s a Giant-Sized episode of Is It Camp?! with a lot of Planet-Sized spoilers for current X-Men continuity and potential MCU future plotlines!
This episode: A Deadly Adoption
This episode is based on a true story about a couple of queer podcast hosts who did an episode on a Lifetime movie about a family rocked by a series of events that may have been based on a true story. Or was it? Whatever, this episode is about A Deadly Adoption.
Does Sarah recognize a minor character who gets fridged? Can Sam learn to love the acting chops of Will Ferrell? Do our hosts find this movie funny?
The answers to these questions are based on real questions, and more, Campers!
This episode: Phantom of the Paradise
Deep in the catacombs of the Is It Camp?! Palace lies a room where a tortured artist has obsessed over his magnum opus. He's also horribly burned. And it's up to our hosts to drag that piece of work out into the light and share it with you, our lovely audience.
Has Sarah discovered a new favourite film? Will Sam discover the shocking secrets of Paul Williams? Can our hosts stop talking about *BEEF*? No for the last one.
Join us on an episode about Phantom of the Paradise, Campers!

This episode: Titanic
In this episode, Sam and Sarah wear big swoopy hats as we discuss Titanic. We diagnose James Cameron's daddy issues, Sam describes the intricacies of set building, and Sarah talks about 9/11. It's another episode about cinema of 1997, and at the end, we even play a game! Pod us like one of your French girls.
This episode: George of the Jungle (1997)
Surprise! We decided we love you all so much that you deserve a SECOND episode today. So we dive into George of the Jungle. Sarah and Sam collectively fall in love with Brendan Fraser (as anyone with a heart should), gag for Taylor Holland in evening wear, and discuss the ethics of kidnapping marriage.
This episode: Galavant
In today's episode Sam and Sarah "loosely" discuss Galavant, but get distracted along the way. Topics go from The First Lady of Australia, Sam's mum meeting another celebrity, and the WORST role Ruther Hauer has ever played. If you were looking for a serious breakdown podcast this episode doesn't deliver. But it's a tonne of fun!
This episode: Rhinestone
In this episode, Sam and Sarah discuss Rhinestone, Ovid's Metamorphosis, and George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion.
This episode: The Phantom of the Opera (2004)
