Arizona State Sun Devils football yielded a sneaky good defense last year that played with an edge and a mentality of being better than they were expected to be thanks to their linebackers. Transfers like Tre Brown and Tate Romney were critical starters for the unit with others like Caleb McCullough having crucial roles as rotational players. Entering 2024, Brown's eligibility expired, but Romney and McCullough return with expectations of them becoming leaders and potentially full-time starters. The Sun Devils added talent, depth, and competition to the room with transfers Jordan Crook, Keyshaun Elliott, and Zyrus Fiaseu. There's also some youngsters on the team who have our attention like redshirt freshman K'Vion Thunderbird. All in all, the position is a mess with no clear starters after spring practices had a seemingly endless amount of rotations, but that doesn't mean it's a bad thing.
