After spending the past decade with a middling prospect pool, the New York Islanders took one big U-turn this past year, accumulating assets and winning the lottery. The additions of Matthew Schaefer, Calum Ritchie, Victor Eklund, and Kashawn Aitcheson completely shift the outlook of the future on Long Island. They's added swaths of top-end talent, but still need to build up more depth in the pool in the coming seasons.
