If you are on the road to improvement, it can feel sometimes like you are stuck in a rut. Specifically, you have been practicing this shot or technique but when the game starts, it disappears. It feels like you are wasting your time.
In this episode of Pickleball Therapy, we look at it three ways:
1. How do the reps of the shot or skill you are working on compare to the reps of your existing shot or skill? Bet you it is not even close.
2. We give you a tip you can use so that you put that new shot or skill into action the next time you play. A concrete step you can take out there.
3. Context is always helpful. It provides us with the perspective to more clearly understand the path we are on; the fastest way to short circuit frustration. Are you clear on your context?
During the riff, we take a look at that “winning” player at your local facility. Are they, perhaps, actually an underperforming player? Find out during the podcast. A different way of thinking about the game.
