The idea that Oregon Football could need to leave the Pac-12, something that wasn't even a conversation topic a week ago, is now at the forefront of the minds of Duck fans. With USC and UCLA bolting for the Big 10, it's easy to foresee a scenario where Oregon could be one of the next schools to follow. Is there a case for the Ducks riding out the storm in the conference of champions? There may be some options for Pac-12 commissioner George Kliavkoff to try and convince Oregon to stay, but it could prove to be a hard sell.

On today's episode of Locked On Ducks, Spencer McLaughlin dives into the latest news for the Ducks on the conference and recruiting front. 4-star 2023 WR Jurrion Dickey, whether he gets re-rated as a 5-star recruit or not, is someone who Dan Lanning, Kenny Dillingham, and WR coach Junior Adams need to continue to recruit him lest other schools become interested in flipping him. One recruit commitment in particular could potentially help solidify his stats as a future Oregon Duck wideout.

The Ducks were after 5-star WR Johntay Cook II, but after Arch Manning committed to Texas he decided to commit to the Longhorns after having Oregon in his final 3 schools. Does this mean they will increase their efforts for top JUCO wide receiver target Malik Benson? It's possible, but the position group might be more set for a couple years than other areas on the roster.
