Writer, director, producer, and actress Isabel Sandoval sat down with HFPA journalist Janet Nepales to discuss finding her voice as an artist during the making and editing  of her film Lingua Franca, which is about an undocumented Filipina trans woman who works as a caregiver for an elderly Russian woman in Brooklyn.
