Our now tradition (2nd year of it) of talking to different commodity groups at the Iowa State Fair turns to the pork industry this week. The Iowa Pork Producers Association helps bring expecting sows to the Animal Learning Center as part of their exhibit. The new pigs are a must see for many fairgoers. We will hear from several members of the Sleezer operation in northwest Iowa who provide the sows and chat about their involvement in the fair and the pig business.  But we begin talking exhibits and policy with Joyce Hoppes and Drew Mogler.
