This is the second part of the episode on Agile Change Management, focusing on the importance of continuous feedback during change. We start by discussing why we would build in feedback loops and how this can influence stakeholders and the outcome of the change initiative. We go over different forms of feedback such as SBIR and GROW, moments when to gather feedback and how to use feedback to handle challenges or dissatisfaction with ongoing change. In the end! we also share ideas and insights into how to gather and integrate feedback into any change initiative to make it more successful and impactful.
As usual, at the end of the episode we share some questions for your introspection.

This is the first of a two-part episode, and covers why change management should be agile.
While answering this question we discuss why 'management' and 'agility' can be seen as complementary components rather than a contradiction in itself.
Some examples we explore in regards to how to make change management more agile are: working in iterations, experimenting with different approaches, testing, keeping requirements open and following the principle 'people over process'.
We also go over potential risks to analyse and mitigate. We consider different aspects such as hard deadlines, a communication plan, stakeholder alignment and expectation management, balancing stability with speed, and the willingness to change.
As usual, at the end of the episode we share some questions for your introspection.

Episode 2 is about how to tap into the intrinsic motivation of individuals to create greater buy-in for change and build pillars of support for you as a leader.
We discuss our personal intrinsic motivators and how this is carries us forward when tackling difficult situations. Also, we focus on how buy-in of your individual team members, based on values and motivators, can contribute towards sustainable change and its success in organisations. Further, we give examples of projects we have worked on and peoples' values we have come across that helped us establish pillars of support for change.
As usual, at the end of the episode we share some questions for your introspection.

This is the last episode of Season 1 and we wrap it up by combining different concepts from previous episodes to share insights on how to drive change in organisations.
In our discussion, we focus on some key questions: What does it mean to drive a value or culture based change in a team?? Which routes can be taken in dealing with formal structures of power when trying to initiate change? What could be the first steps that are in the leader's area of influence?
In answering these questions we talk about how to build a foundation for making a sustainable difference in terms of mindset and behaviour, seek for pillars of support, and set milestones. We also speak about what mindset is required of a leader, the importance of feedback to allow for a collaborative approach and how to create positive patterns that contribute towards the direction of the change and the impact created.
At the end of the episode, we share some tips on how to start driving change in your organisation as well as questions for introspection.

It is important for leaders in tech to unlearn the KPI-driven thinking when it comes to people and learn how to focus on the important, but not-so-measurable aspects.
In this episode Jonathan reflects on his previous experience as a founder when he did not delegate enough. We further discuss the controversial question of putting 'a price tag' on people leadership or on strategic work and what negative impact this has on teams and businesses.
We also discuss the example of challenges of tech leads recently being promoted and how their intrinsic motivation could stop them from enabling their teams. Find out how to spot patterns of being too operational and how to change those patterns to gain value from strategy in people leadership.
At the end of the episode we share some questions for your introspection.

You've heard of TDD; now what is TDL?! We discuss the term 'Test Driven Leadership' by reflecting on a story about how to introduce regular performance reviews in an Engineering department vs. using an NPS system with the same purpose.
One of the main questions is how the mindset of testing can be used for driving change management initiatives. We also explore scenarios where we believe following a test driven mindset by leaders could be applied, and where this concept hits some boundaries.
We share our thoughts on how to strike the right balance between applying TDL or not when it comes to leading people. At the end of the episode we share some questions for your introspection.

Sometimes we try our best and the results are anything but good. In this episode we are sharing a story of a founder who despite of their best intentions created a harmful environment in their organisation leading to their employees experiencing a systemic burnout.
By reflecting on this specific case, we discuss what we would call conscientious leadership and how this looks like in day-to-day practice as a leader or manager. We also give examples of situations of systemic exclusion that are created unintentionally, and how this can harm a business.
We beliebe there is a fine line between setting up autonomous teams and giving required direction to enable sustainable and healthy growth. We explore avenues that can be taken to avoid creating destructive patterns, or what you can do as a leader to enhance the well-being of your team members and yourself.
At the end of the episode we share some questions for your introspection.
