  • Reflections of our Mess in 2020 EP. 28

As 2020 comes to a close, we figured it would be nice to wind down the year with our reflections on the year and revisit the intentions we made at the beginning of 2020. This episode we take the time to intentionally review the past and look at what we’ve accomplished.  The goal of this episode is to give recognition to where we were, and come to an understanding of how far we've come while to giving honor to ourselves for being exactly where we are intended to be in the present.

Side Note: I know we "skipped" episode 27. EP 27 is technically our presentation at the Transcend Fear Event in Boulder, CO.  You all can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajBnYe55aU8  (time stamp  around 2:23:00)

We were going to post it as an episode but that didn't happen. It's still a mess but we just didn't want y'all to think we can't count.

The agenda for this episode: THE DIC

Is always to DIC’ it down. Define, Impact, Cope.

This episode we will provide our personal definitions of “reflection” then define our reflections on our intentions that we set at the beginning of the year for this podcast and our lives in general.

Then we will discuss the impact of our reflections of our intentions and just go over what happened in 2020. Was it what we thought, what surprised us, etc?

And Lastly, we talk about how we cope with our reflections and what we gained from our intentions.

We make each section clearly known, so feel free to pause throughout the sections to give yourself time to answer. If you want to. Maybe even jot down your answers and thoughts. Do what feels right for you.

  • Thankfulness EP. 26

Why this topic? Because it's Thanksgiving  and with "Thankfulness" being the central theme of the day,  we don’t focus on it enough. We also have this nagging suspicion that if we acknowledge the things we are thankful for, it will help us realize what we have and help draw more things to be thankful for.

The agenda for this episode: THE DIC

Is always to DIC’ it down. Define, Impact, Cope.

This episode we will provide our personal definitions of “thankfulness” and name one thing we are thankful for.

Then we will discuss the impact of thankfulness in our lives.

And talk about how we cope with our thoughts and experiences around thankfulness.

  • Friend or Foe: What's Your Inner Dialogue? EP.22

Heeeeyyyy Everyone!  We are so happy to be back to DIC down another topic! Let's get straight to it. This episode we ask ourselves... Friend or Foe: What's Your Inner Dialogue?

Why is this question so important?

Because how you talk to yourself ties into your perception and eventually your reality and as a result we figured that it was worth a more in-depth exploration...aka DIC down!

The agenda for this episode: THE DIC
To help (D)efine our "inner voice" we asked ourselves 3 questions:

    1. Do you have an inner voice?
    2. Describe it?
    3. Does your inner voice sound like a friend or foe?

After we answer those questions we move on and discuss the (I)mpact our inner voices have had on our lives and the decisions we have made for ourselves.

And last but not least we break down how we are (C)oping with our inner voice and it's role in our present lives.
