We get the governance we deserve. Today, I use a poll showing every red-state RINO as popular with voters to demonstrate the failure of our industry for years. We are in this weak position – facing prosecutions for political speech – because of the failure of our movement to influence power when it had the chance. Today, I warn my colleagues that they must have a plan on how we are going to fight the weaponization and prosecution of Trump. There is no better solution than Trump pressuring McCarthy to defund the prosecutions in the budget bills. This is the position none of my contemporaries are willing to take because most of them care more about their paychecks than doing what’s right and actually achieving their own stated objectives.
