“If you told me six years ago I’d be on a farm with my own business, I would’ve said you’re bloody joking,” says Hannah Bamford.
I've been thinking about the individuals I've met who have had a diverse set of experiences before landing a career in agriculture. One story caught my attention, and I felt it was time to sit down and get it on the podcast.
Hannah Bamford's career journey is anything but ordinary. From working in civil construction and patrolling Australian waters as a Marine Tactical Officer, to now being Assistant Manager on a 10,000-acre property before finally founding Ag Work Solutions. Hannah's path into agriculture is a story of resilience, reinvention, and raw passion for rural life. Together, we unpack the career opportunities in ag and the importance of making the industry more accessible to newcomers.
