Jay Dyer returns to Our Interesting Times to discuss the latest installments of his Tragedy & Hope lecture series. We talk about Napoleon Bonaparte and how he was a likely agent of the dominant European banking houses. We also discuss the intrigues of the Atlanticist powers in the interwar period and how their dual policy of appeasing and demonizing Hitler was a dialectic created to foment yet another European general war with the goal being the creation of a two bloc or bipolar world. Later we reflect on 9/11 and the nature of evil.

The speedy, steady slide of the arts into total degeneracy as a form of weaponized chaos descends like lightning speed in the West. This devolution and digression into post-post-modern non-meaning and madness is pre-eminently exemplified in the latest from Danish director Nicolas Winding Refn, of Drive (2011) fame. Refn’s Neon Demon is basically Mulholland Drive taken to the next level of depravity, and revamped from the rapacious world of Hollywood to high fashion. Since these two worlds often overlap, Refn’s film is a window into the fact that Madison Avenue and its bourgeoisie, globo-decadence and anti-aesthetic are social engineering tools as much as Hollywood. (This connection is likely, given Refn’s obvious Lynchian influence in his incoherent 2013 film, Only God Forgives).

Andrew Korybko of Sputnik, Russia-Insider, Oriental Review, and Katehon joins me to discuss his book Hybrid Wars: The Indirect Adaptive Approach to Regime Change. We cover the western geopolitical machinations of regime change, color revolutions and manufactured coups in relation to recent events in Syria and the Ukraine. Beyond that, we discuss the history of this same "technology" of manipulation in the older Balkan crises and Putin's role in bringing stability. Andrew's book is a must-have for understanding the modern geopolitical landscape.

Andrew's bio:

"Andrew Korybko is a political analyst, journalist and a regular contributor to several online journals, as well as a member of the expert council for the Institute of Strategic Studies and Predictions at the People’s Friendship University of Russia. He specializes in Russian affairs and geopolitics, specifically the US strategy in Eurasia. His other areas of focus include tactics of regime change, color revolutions and unconventional warfare used across the world. His book, “Hybrid Wars: The Indirect Adaptive Approach To Regime Change”, extensively analyzes the situations in Syria and Ukraine and claims to prove that they represent a new model of strategic warfare being waged by the US."

Daniel Spaulding of Soul of the East joins me to talk about his many essays, including evangelical nonsense, false teachers and scam artists, and their use by the government apparatus for foreign policy propaganda, as well as the "AltRight." We discuss the origins of today's faux preachers and the erroneous ideals of the Enlightenment and the Reformation that underly their "Gospel." Daniel and I cover Syria, Ukraine and many other western-aggravated conflicts and the real goals of the nihilistic post-modern imperium. Daniel's excellent list of essays can be found here at souloftheeast.org.

Here, we pick up where part 5 left off in the long drudgery of World War 2. Hitler's moves were coaxed by the western powers, leading to a new boogey man that would envelop the globe in a total reengineering of order. From a 3 bloc to a 2 bloc world, the "new war order" was like nothing before it, leading to the Cold War and the scientific dictatorship.
