A 6th Dan black belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, a Dr. (P.H.D) of Philosophy from Columbia university and, in his words, a cripple having suffered throughout his life from severe leg and hip problems. John has revolutionised the sport of MMA, creating champion after champion including UFC legend George Saint Pierre and No.1 grappler in the world Gordon Ryan.
