After the rainstorms, seeds of wildflowers that have lain dormant in desert soil begin to germinate and blossom all at once into a beautiful and magnificent superbloom.&nbsp; &nbsp; This is what our host, Candice King, wants. Life has felt like one rainstorm after another and now, after laying dormant for a bit, I’m ready for a superbloom. REPLAY: Beautiful Magical Moments w/ Nora McInerny

Candice is joined by advocate and Democratic Candidate for Tennessee's District 75, Allie Phillips, to give vital context to her current campaign and share her lived experience that brought her to politics. 
Allie always dreamt of being a mother and she was blessed with her first daughter, Adalie. She was equally ecstatic when she became pregnant with her second daughter, Miley. But things took a sudden turn for the worst when at 19-weeks pregnant, Allie was told she had an nonviable fetus; Miley’s organs unfortunately didn’t develop correctly and the longer Allie stayed pregnant, the more at risk they both were. However, due to Tennessee's anti-abortion laws, Allie was not allowed medical care or guidance by her home state doctors to terminate her pregnancy. 
With no time to even properly grieve, Allie had to seek help and support through her online community which brought her to a clinic in New York where she learned Miley had already passed in her womb. After being put into the lowest of lows, Allie vows to be the same pillar of support and understanding that she had from those both near and far around her.
