Jon Jones is an Asheville-based entrepreneur who co-founded a creative and technology agency, Anthroware, in 2013 to build products the right way—with a focus on design thinking, and treating every project as a product. Anthroware exists to create products and brands that make it easy to do hard things, and their team of creatives, business consultants and technology builders do so by obsessing over the people and organizations that use Anthroware software.

Jon has a Bachelor's of Science. and Master's of Science in Applied Physics and Nanotechnology from Appalachian State University, and worked in corporate America as a scientist then software engineer prior to becoming an entrepreneur. In his role at Anthroware, Jon leads this rapidly growing company’s business design, innovation, culture, and sets company goals.

Jon is also a co-founder and mentor with the Hatch AVL Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit with the mission of growing select high-growth companies in Asheville. Outside of Anthroware and Hatch, you can find Jon enjoying Asheville’s beautiful outdoors with family and friends.
