"I am trained to work with young children though adulthood treating issues such as anxiety and depression. In addition I provide parent coaching to support parents in their developing strong relationships with their children. I am also trained to treat women struggling with pre and post natal challenges. I utilize an integrated approach using evidence based treatments that include CBT (cognitive-behavioral therapy), mindfulness, exposure treatment, and parent management training. I also believe in the validity of psychodynamic therapy and building a strong therapeutic alliance with my clients.
I also work as a school psychologist at a private school in NYC. I understand the inner workings of school-related stress and can be particularly helpful in parenting strategies and developing coping skills for managing school-related anxiety and social dynamics.
In addition to my clinical work, I serve on the Medical Advisory Board at Lauren Bongiorno's Health Coaching for People with Diabetes. As a type 1 diabetic myself, I understand the unique challenges of living with chronic illness and value the commitment I have made in supporting those struggling with their mental health. "
