Dan Fogler is an American actor, comedian and writer. He had his breakout in theatre, winning the Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for his role as William Barfée in the Broadway production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, which was also his Broadway debut.

Some of Dan’s acting credits include playing Francis Ford Coppola in Paramount’s The Offer, Jacob Kawalski in the Harry Potter spin-off film series Fantastic Beasts, House of the Dragon, A Complete Unknown, and Fanboys.

Dan and Michael worked together on the 2011 comedy Take Me Home Tonight, as well as The Kellys, with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Liam Hemsworth, which just wrapped filming and will be available on Amazon in the future.

She is the recipient of fellowships from National Endowment for the Arts, Kimbilio, CantoMundo, and Sundress Academy for the Arts. Her poetry collection SCAR ON/SCAR OFF received an Independent Publishers Book Award and her short story collection When Trying to Return Home, was a New York Times Editors' Choice and one of the Best Fiction Books of the Year by Kirkus Reviews. She has received an MFA from Florida International University and a PhD in English from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is presently an assistant professor in English at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
