Today we talk money, gwop, feddi, cheese, greenbacks you get the point. For a long time I have always wondered about how minorities look at finances and how can we help each other understand it better. I have always felt like we look at the glam of social media and others and chase the purchases of others than worry about the experiences of self. After the Queen X event I wanted to talk to her financial editor Monica Young about ways we can fix the way we look at money, break down some of the knowledge of alternatives and options we have with money, and at some point try to convince her to jump on the cryptocurrency wagon. We go on for a while but I think it's important to begin this conversation at a surface level and in time go levels down the weeds!

This is the Debut episode of the combat sports podcast hosted by IKF host and presenter Lester Rowe. This podcast is a type of interview show where we will bring on two guest and the guest will talk about their lives, careers, and viewpoints but also serve as co-host and interview each other. More Like a roundtable talk. Hope you all enjoy it . We are looking for sponsors to be apart of this new show so please email me at [email protected] to see what we can work out on in-show spots.

With both fighters having upcoming fights we have David "the Caveman" Rickels and Cody Carrillo on the show. Both MMA vets with more than 80 fights between them, there was a ton of great conversation and wisdom shared on today's show. David talks about this long layover between fights as he ----more----gears up to step back in the cage after a year at Bellator 185 October 20th and Cody talks about his controversial win at EFC 6 to win the first EFC 155 belt and his upcoming fight at EFC 7 November 4th. Both engage in a great conversation on how to make it as a fighter from amateur to pro and what major changes need to happen in the sport as it becomes more and more popular. A ton of wisdom between both that many up and coming fighters want to hear. How is that for a debut!

This was one of the first interviews I did for the I'm Kinda Famous podcast. I have said on the show many times I like to drop an interview when it helps the guest promote. Well this was recorded in the early days and now that the album dropped we finally put out this great deep discussion me and Wichita rap artist Big Sam aka Samuel David had on the art of music. Fresh off the release of Drake More Life and Kendrick Lamar Damn album we talk about both projects, ghostwriting, his new album the Book of Samuel David or as its first installment is known by Vol.1: Live for Once and somehow we went down the rabbit hole of music and had a great debate. This is a long episode but if you love music like I do you really will dig this one. When you are done go back and check episode 24 of IKF where we break down the Jay Z Album 4:44 and sometime soon we will get together and have this men's panel conversation.

As a lover of all things, true crime it's a very ill painted excitement to get the chance to do my first true crime episode of the podcast. This one is about Kenneka Jenkins, a 19-year-old found in a hotel freezer after partying with friends. The case as of this episode remains unsolved. With me doing the dance of armchair detective is Domonique Vontress who you may have heard in the background of the last episode during the Queen X Live recording with Autumn Black. She is a fan of true crime and all that extra mystery related stuff and is a little ball of energy. We dig into the weeds talking about the conspiracies cycling through the internet, some of the possibilities, and I was lucky enough to have a friend that works in the investigation field that I leaned on to research this show providing feedback to some of the weirdness in how this case is being handled and scenarios of possibilities. We do alot of speculation while trying to have a fair mind about the factual information. I am really excited to share this episode and hope you all enjoy it. If you like this one please let me know  or leave feedback on the facebook comments and rate us. Thank yall for continuing to ride with me each week and I have some extras from the show coming up in the near future!

We tried something new! Podcasting in front of the people We stopped by the Queen X Fall Release party Flawless Salon and Boutique at 4540 E 13th st Wichita Kansas to talk to the CEO and Editor in Chief of Queen X Magazine Autumn Black. Not only do we talk to her but the audience at her event chimed in throughout making for some interesting and informative exchanges. We briefly touched on the Kenneka Jenkins mystery (which I will cover in a later episode), Queen X and what it's about, Financial intelligence, Autumn's other business ventures, making Caddilac Chronicles, being a vegetarian, and I had to also remind a room full of black women that black men don't cheat... I'm not sure that they took it well! You will want to hear this episode. THere was also some extra banter after the show ended. I'll be posting that audio soon!

A little bit of news we at IKF are working on changing a few things with the show along with starting a new show. We may begin to do more shows where people can sit in and listen to the recordings and chime in. With how the show is growing every week and now you guys are beginning to email and hit me up with topics, this is just more to the growth. I have one taker as of typing this to give me a location but contact if you are in Wichita and have a spot that you wouldn't mind producing a show every week out of and lets get popping.

We have been late dropping the last few episodes. I am making some changes and moves to how we operate as well as starting a new podcast or two. We still gonna be here every week! Not to mention we are recording live event September 15th with Autumn Black CEO and EOC of Queen X Magazine! Level up! This week how do I do an episode and not talk about Hurrican Harvey but Florida brace yourselves for Irma please do the right thing! I talk a little about North Korea, tell a story about why racism at MCDonalds will keep me from going back to another one, and more notes and pieces! I was beat from some other recordings during this show but it was still a good show.
