Ché shares her personal experience of being on The Path of Love retreat. Before leaving Anna and Ché joked that Ché was leaving to enter a cult because of the secrecy surrounding what is inside this transformational process. To everyone’s delight, Ché has returned from “the cult” and shares today some insights, epiphanies and learnings that she received through this profound and life changing process.

How do we find the balance of caring for all aspects of ourselves? Anna and Ché catch up and touch base and talk about how they have both been working hard on themselves but from opposite ends of the spectrum. Anna on her physical health and Ché on her spiritual connections and openness to receive guidance. Together they talk about the dilemma where being overly focused on the physical body can keep us in survival mode, cut us off from the bigger picture and honouring a higher purpose.

It’s been four weeks since the real and raw episode was recorded and Anna provides an update on her healing adventure and health journey so far. She shares some of the realisations, lessons and learnings. Ché and Anna discuss how yoga is about the union and blending these parts that are often seen as separate - the physical, and the “woo-woo”, or spiritual parts.

When you aim to keep things high vibe, sometimes it is hard to be honest as you dance the line between authenticity and sharing some of the more negative or challenging aspects of your experience. Anna opens up and shares authentically some more details on her recent, or not so recent, health challenges. Some of the demons she’s had to face, shame she has had to acknowledge and what moving forward currently looks like. We talk about the importance of asking for help and why it is so hard and Ché shares a useful tool for coping with worrying or unhelpful thought cycles.

We break the mould with this episode of Kombucha and Colour as we invite our first male guest onto the show - Ian Blunt! Ian shares his experience of working on cruise ships and finding himself in a really “dark bubble” of depression and isolation. We touch on feelings of validity, self-worth and asking for help from a male perspective as Ian authentically shares his journey of taking action, turning things around and ultimately becoming a high vibe life coach to empower others to do the same.
